Recipient of the National Award 2013 of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi for Science Communication, the highest award to be given in the field of Science communication in the country. The award was confirred for the outstanding efforts in science and technology communication through print media including books and magazines.
The award was given by Dr K. VijayRaghavan in presence of Dr T. Ramasami on February 28, 2014 on the occasion of National Science Day celebration.
Felicitated by Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation and Aarohan at the hands of Hon. Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on March 1, 2011 for the outstanding contribution to science communication at the National level.
Received ‘Manoramabai Apte Puraskar 2012’ of Marathi Vidnyan Parishad for the contribution to science communication through various media on April, 29, 2012 at the hands of Dr Aditi Pant, a well known oceanographer and the first Indian woman to visit Antarctica as part of the Indian Antarctic Program in 1983.
The award is given since 1993 by Marathi Vidnyan Parishad after every three years for a person or institution for notable contribution in science communication.
Received ‘Adarsha Dombivlikar Puraskar 2012’ for the contribution to science communication in April 2012 at the hands of Shri. Ravindra Chavan, MLA, Government of Maharashtra in presence of Shri. Sudhir Joglekar.
Felicitated by V. G. Vaze College, Mulund with Alumni Achievers' Award 2017-18 for the contribution to the field of science communication at the National level.
The award was given on January 30, 2018 at the hands of Dr Rajpal Hande, Principal, Mithibai College, Mumbai and Director of Board of College and University Development, University of Mumbai.
